In many Haitian churches — in Port-au-Prince, Montreal, Miami or Paris — part of the congregation prays in Kreyòl and part in French, sometimes English or Spanish too. Instead of choosing one language and leaving someone behind, you can show both on the same slide.

Acts 2:8

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

King James Version

Turn on bilingual mode

  1. Open the Bible tab and choose your first translation, for example Kreyòl.
  2. In the presentation settings, choose Bilingual and pick a second translation, such as Louis Segond 1910.
  3. Search the passage as usual: each verse appears in both languages.

Choose a layout that fits your room

  • Side by side works best on wide screens and short verses.
  • Top / bottom keeps lines long and readable on smaller screens.
  • Primary larger makes the main language bigger and the second one smaller.
  • Swap languages in one click if the preacher changes language.

Keep it readable

Two languages means twice the text. Show one verse per slide, keep the text large, and turn on language labels only if your congregation needs them. If a verse is long, split it: the last row should read both versions without effort.

What if a translation is missing a verse?

If the second translation does not have the verse, BibleSlide shows the first translation only and tells the operator, so the screen never goes blank.

Prepare your bilingual readings during the week and save them in the service: on Sunday, the operator only presses Next.
