These Terms govern your access to and use of the BibleSlide website, applications, community features, presentation tools, and related services (together, “BibleSlide”). By creating an account or using BibleSlide, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BibleSlide, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use BibleSlide on behalf of a church or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use BibleSlide.
2. User Accounts
Reading the website and the public hymn library does not require an account. Some features, such as the presentation application, require one. You can create a free account on the registration page; BibleSlide does not currently charge for accounts or require a payment method.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly at support@bibleslide.org if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use BibleSlide lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- upload or share unlawful, harmful or malicious content;
- distribute malware or any code designed to damage or disrupt systems;
- attack, probe or overload the platform’s infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
- scrape, harvest or misuse private platform data;
- interfere with the normal operation of the site or exploit vulnerabilities;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- send spam or unsolicited messages to other users;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of others; or
- use BibleSlide for any illegal activity.
4. User Content & Ownership
You keep ownership of the original content you create or upload where you hold the necessary rights — for example presentations, sermon notes, original graphics, uploaded media and background images, custom slide layouts, church materials and original written content.
By using BibleSlide you give BibleSlide a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service to you (for example, to show your slides on a projector, export them to PowerPoint or PDF, or keep a backup). BibleSlide does not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the content you upload, including song lyrics, images and fonts.
5. Community Guidelines
BibleSlide is a Christian-oriented platform for creators and ministries. Wherever BibleSlide lets people share content or interact, we ask everyone to act with respect. The following are not allowed:
- harassment, threats or bullying;
- hate speech or discrimination;
- spam or deceptive content;
- malicious behavior;
- impersonation;
- copyright infringement; and
- content intended to cause harm.
6. Donations
Donations may be used to support BibleSlide’s development, infrastructure, Christian resources, ministry tools and related operations. Donations are voluntary and do not purchase goods, services or special access.
When online giving is available, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy. BibleSlide does not store your full card or bank details.
BibleSlide does not state that it is a registered charity or nonprofit organization, and you should not assume that donations are tax-deductible.
If you believe a donation was made in error, contact support@bibleslide.org. Refunds are considered case by case, subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s policies.
7. Marketplace Rules
BibleSlide does not currently operate a marketplace. If BibleSlide introduces a way for creators to share or distribute templates, graphics or other materials, creators will be responsible for owning or properly licensing everything they distribute, and additional terms may apply to that feature.
8. BibleSlide Intellectual Property
The BibleSlide name and logo, the platform interface, source code, original designs, custom icons, proprietary tools and original documentation belong to BibleSlide and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
BibleSlide does not claim ownership of third-party materials used in or with the service — including Bible translations, hymns and song lyrics, music, fonts, images, software libraries and plugins. These remain the property of their owners and are governed by their own licenses.
9. Third-Party Content
BibleSlide includes or links to materials provided by others, such as public-domain Bible translations, hymn collections, fonts and external websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Account Suspension or Termination
We may restrict, suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary, including for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, security threats, platform abuse, fraud, harmful behavior toward others, or attempts to compromise the service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.
You may stop using BibleSlide at any time and ask us to delete your account through Delete my account or by writing to support@bibleslide.org.
11. Service Availability
We work to keep BibleSlide reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, updates, the services of our providers, network failures or other technical problems may occasionally affect access. Features may change as the platform develops.
For live services, we recommend keeping a backup of important presentations — for example, a PowerPoint or PDF export.
12. Limitation of Liability
BibleSlide is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, BibleSlide is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms as BibleSlide evolves or when the law requires it. We will change the “Last Updated” date above and, for significant changes, give reasonable notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use BibleSlide after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
