1 Se yon kantik David. Ala bon sa bon pou yon moun lè Bondye pa gade sou fòt li fè, lè Bondye padonnen peche l' yo! 2 Ala bon sa bon pou yon moun lè Seyè a pa mande l' kont pou sa li fè ki mal, lè li pa gen okenn lide twonpe Bondye! 3 Tank mwen pa t' ankò vle rekonèt peche m' yo, mwen t'ap cheche sou pye. Tout lajounen, mwen t'ap plenn. 4 Lajounen kou lannwit ou t'ap kale m', Seyè. Mwen fin rann tout ji mwen, tankou tè sèk nan sezon chalè. 5 Lè sa a, mwen rekonèt peche m' yo devan ou, mwen pa t' kache ou sa m' te fè ki mal. Mwen di: M'ap rakonte Seyè a tout bagay. Apre sa, ou te padonnen tout peche m' yo. 6 Se konsa, moun k'ap sèvi ou ak tout kè yo gen pou lapriyè ou lè yo nan tray. Si yo nan gwo dlo, anyen p'ap rive yo. 7 Se bò kote ou mwen vin kache. Jou malè w'ap delivre m'. M'ap chante fè konnen jan ou pwoteje m'. 8 Seyè a di: M'a louvri lespri ou sou anpil bagay. M'a moutre ou chemen pou ou swiv la. M'a ba ou bon konsèy. M'ap voye je sou ou. 9 Pa fè tankou chwal osinon tankou milèt ki san konprann. Yo blije mete bosal ak brid nan bouch yo pou donte yo. Si se pa sa, ou pa ka pwoche bò kote yo. 10 Mechan yo gen pou yo soufri anpil. Men, Seyè a ap toujou pwoteje moun ki met konfyans yo nan li paske li renmen yo. 11 Nou tout k'ap viv jan Bondye vle l' la, fè kè nou kontan, chante pou sa Seyè a fè pou nou. Nou tout k'ap mache dwat devan Bondye, rele, fè wè jan nou kontan.

Sòm 32:1-2

PSALM 32

Psa 32:1-11. Maschil--literally, "giving instruction." The Psalmist describes the blessings of His forgiveness, succeeding the pains of conviction, and deduces from his own experience instruction and exhortation to others.

1-2. (Compare Ro 4:6).

forgiven--literally, "taken away," opposed to retain (Joh 20:23).

covered--so that God no longer regards the sin (Psa 85:3).

3-4. A vivid description of felt, but unacknowledged, sin.

When--literally, "for," as in Psa 32:4.

5. A prompt fulfilment of the purposed confession is followed by a prompt forgiveness.

6. For this--that is, my happy experience.

godly--pious in the sense of Psa 4:3.

a time--(Is 55:6); when God's Spirit inclines us to seek pardon, He is ready to forgive.

floods, &c.--denotes great danger (Psa 18:17; 66:12).

7. His experience illustrates the statement of Psa 32:6.

8. Whether, as most likely, the language of David (compare Psa 51:13), or that of God, this is a promise of divine guidance.

I will ... mine eye--or, My eye shall be on thee, watching and directing thy way.

9. The latter clause, more literally, "in that they come not near thee"; that is, because they will not come, &c., unless forced by bit and bridle.

10. The sorrows of the impenitent contrasted with the peace and safety secured by God's mercy.

Sòm 32:11

11. The righteous and upright, or those conforming to the divine teaching for securing the divine blessing, may well rejoice with shouting.
