Sòm 30
Bib La · Kreyòl Ayisyen
1 (030:1) Kantik pou fèt Benediksyon Tanp lan. Se yon sòm David. (030:2) M'ap fè lwanj ou, Seyè, paske ou mete m' sou de pye m' ankò, paske ou pa bay lènmi m' yo chans pou yo pase m' nan rizib. 2 (030:3) Seyè, Bondye mwen, mwen rele nan pye ou, epi ou geri mwen. 3 (030:4) Ou rale m' soti nan bouch twou a. Ou ban m' lavi ankò, ou pa kite m' mouri. 4 (030:5) Nou tout ki renmen Seyè a, fè lwanj li! Chonje sa l' te fè. Li pa tankou tout moun. Di l' mèsi. 5 (030:6) Paske, lè li ankòlè, se pou yon ti tan. Men, li ban nou favè l' pou tout tan n'ap viv. Lannwit nou kriye, Kou l' jou, kè nou kontan. 6 (030:7) Mwen te santi kè m' poze, se sak fè mwen t'ap di: -Anyen p'ap janm rive m'. 7 (030:8) Seyè, ou fè m' favè, ou mete m' chita sou yon mòn byen wo. Men, kou ou vire do ban mwen, kè m' kase. 8 (030:9) Mwen te kriye nan pye ou, Seyè. Mwen te mande ou sekou. 9 (030:10) Si ou kite yo touye m', sa sa ap fè pou ou? Si ou kite m' ale anba tè, sa sa ap rapòte ou? Eske moun mouri ka fè lwanj ou? Eske yo ka mache di jan ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou? 10 (030:11) Koute m' non, Seyè! Gen pitye pou mwen! Seyè, pote m' sekou! 11 (030:12) Ou siye dlo nan je m', ou fè kè m' kontan anpil. Ou wete rad dèy ki te sou mwen an, ou ban m' yon bèl rad mete sou mwen pou m' fè fèt. 12 (030:13) Mwen p'ap rete ak bouch mwen fèmen, m'ap chante lwanj ou. Seyè, se ou menm ki Bondye mwen! Se tout tan tout tan m'ap di ou mèsi.

Sòm 30:1
PSALM 30
Psa 30:1-12. Literally, "A Psalm-Song"--a composition to be sung with musical instruments, or without them--or, "Song of the dedication," &c. specifying the particular character of the Psalm. Some suppose that of David should be connected with the name of the composition, and not with "house"; and refer for the occasion to the selection of a site for the temple (1Ch 21:26-30; 22:1). But "house" is never used absolutely for the temple, and "dedication" does not well apply to such an occasion. Though the phrase in the Hebrew, "dedication of the house of David," is an unusual form, yet it is equally unusual to disconnect the name of the author and the composition. As a "dedication of David's house" (as provided, De 20:5), the scope of the Psalm well corresponds with the state of repose and meditation on his past trials suited to such an occasion (2Sa 5:11; 7:2). For beginning with a celebration of God's delivering favor, in which he invites others to join, he relates his prayer in distress, and God's gracious and prompt answer.
1. lifted me up--as one is drawn from a well (Psa 40:2).
Sòm 30:2
Sòm 30:3
Sòm 30:4
4. remembrance--the thing remembered or memorial.
holiness--as the sum of God's perfections (compare Psa 22:3), used as name (Ex 3:15; Psa 135:13).
Sòm 30:5
5. Relatively, the longest experience of divine anger by the pious is momentary. These precious words have consoled millions.
Sòm 30:6-7
Sòm 30:8-11
8-11. As in Psa 6:5; 88:10; Is 38:18, the appeal for mercy is based on the destruction of his agency in praising God here, which death would produce. The terms expressing relief are poetical, and not to be pressed, though "dancing" is the translation of a word which means a lute, whose cheerful notes are contrasted with mourning, or (Am 5:16) wailing.
Sòm 30:12
12. Though "my" is supplied before "glory" it is better as in Psa 16:9, to receive it as used for tongue, the organ of praise. The ultimate end of God's mercies to us is our praise to Him.
