Bib La · Kreyòl Ayisyen
1 (0102:1) Lapriyè yon moun ki anba tray. Li pa kapab sipòte ankò. L'ap rakonte Bondye ka li. (0102:2) Seyè, koute m' non lè m'ap lapriyè, se pou rèl mwen rive nan zòrèy ou. 2 (0102:3) Pa vire do ban mwen lè mwen nan traka. Panche zòrèy ou bò kote m'. Prese vin reponn mwen lè m'ap rele ou. 3 (0102:4) Lavi m' ap disparèt tankou lafimen. Mwen gen yon lafyèb nan zo. 4 (0102:5) Mwen anba gwo kou. Mwen tankou zèb koupe k'ap cheche. Mwen sitèlman boulvèse, mwen pa menm chonje manje. 5 (0102:6) Mwen tounen zo ak po tèlman m'ap plenn. 6 (0102:7) Mwen sanble yon tako savann, mwen tankou frize ki rete nan vye kay kraze. 7 (0102:8) Mwen pa ka dòmi, mwen tankou yon zwezo ki pou kont li sou yon do kay. 8 (0102:9) Tout lajounen lènmi m' yo ap joure m'. Moun k'ap pase m' nan rizib yo pran non m' sèvi jouman. 9 (0102:10) Se sann dife ki tout manje m'. Dlo nan je m' fè yon sèl ak dlo m'ap bwè. 10 (0102:11) Ou sitèlman ankòlè, ou sitèlman fache, ou pran m', ou voye m' jete byen lwen. 11 (0102:12) Kò m' ap tchoule tankou solèy k'ap kouche. M'ap cheche tankou zèb. 12 (0102:13) Men ou menm, Seyè, w'ap gouvènen pou tout tan. Pitit an pitit y'ap chonje non ou! 13 (0102:14) W'a leve, w'a gen pitye pou lavil Siyon an, paske li lè pou ou gen pitye pou li. Jou a rive. 14 (0102:15) Moun k'ap sèvi ou yo renmen lavil Siyon an. Kè yo fè yo mal pou yo wè jan l'ap fini. 15 (0102:16) Lè sa a, moun lòt nasyon yo va gen krentif pou Seyè a, tout wa ki sou latè va pè bèl pouvwa li. 16 (0102:17) Seyè a va rebati lavil Siyon, l'a fè wè jan li gen pouvwa. 17 (0102:18) L'a pran ka moun ki san sekou yo lè y'a lapriyè, wi, li p'ap meprize lapriyè yo. 18 (0102:19) Se pou yo ekri sa pou timoun k'ap vini yo ka konnen l', pou timoun ki poko fèt yo ka fè lwanj li. 19 (0102:20) Seyè a rete anwo nan kay ki apa pou li a, li gade anba, li rete anwo nan syèl la, l'ap gade sou latè, 20 (0102:21) pou l' tande jan prizonye yo ap plenn, pou l' delivre moun yo kondannen amò yo. 21 (0102:22) Konsa, moun va nonmen non Seyè a nan tout lavil Siyon an. Y'a fè lwanj li nan lavil Jerizalèm, 22 (0102:23) lè tout nasyon yo ak tout gouvènman ki sou latè yo va sanble pou sèvi Seyè a. 23 (0102:24) Mwen te jenn gason toujou lè Seyè a kraze kouraj mwen: li koupe sou lavi m'. 24 (0102:25) Mwen di: Bondye mwen, ou menm k'ap viv pou tout tan, pa pran m' koulye a. Mwen jenn gason toujou. 25 (0102:26) Se ou menm, Seyè, ki te kreye latè nan tan lontan. Se avèk men ou ou te fè syèl la. 26 (0102:27) Yo gen pou yo disparèt, men ou menm w'ap toujou la. Yo gen pou yo vin vye tankou rad. W'ap chanje yo tankou yo chanje rad, w'a mete yo sou kote.

PSALM 102
Psa 102:1-28. A Prayer of the afflicted, &c.--The general terms seem to denote the propriety of regarding the Psalm as suitably expressive of the anxieties of any one of David's descendants, piously concerned for the welfare of the Church. It was probably David's composition, and, though specially suggested by some peculiar trials, descriptive of future times. Overwhelmed--(compare Psa 61:2). Poureth out--pouring out the soul--(Psa 62:8). Complaint--(Psa 55:2). The tone of complaint predominates, though in view of God's promises and abiding faithfulness, it is sometimes exchanged for that of confidence and hope.
1-3. The terms used occur in Psa 4:1; 17:1, 6; 18:6; 31:2, 10; 37:20.
Sòm 102:4
4. (Compare Psa 121:6).
so that I forget--or, "have forgotten," that is, in my distress (Psa 107:18), and hence strength fails.
Sòm 102:5
5. voice ... groaning--effect put for cause, my agony emaciates me.
Sòm 102:6-7
6-7. The figures express extreme loneliness.
Sòm 102:8
8. sworn against me--or literally, "by me," wishing others as miserable as I am (Nu 5:21).
Sòm 102:9
9. ashes--a figure of grief, my bread; weeping or tears, my drink (Psa 80:5).
Sòm 102:10
10. lifted ... cast me down--or, "cast me away" as stubble by a whirlwind (Is 64:6).
Sòm 102:11
11. shadow ... declineth--soon to vanish in the darkness of night.
Sòm 102:12
12. Contrast with man's frailty (compare Psa 90:1-7).
thy remembrance--that by which Thou art remembered, Thy promise.
Sòm 102:13-14
13-14. Hence it is here adduced.
for--or, "when."
the set time, &c.--the time promised, the indication of which is the interest felt for Zion by the people of God.
Sòm 102:15-17
15-17. God's favor to the Church will affect her persecutors with fear.
Sòm 102:18
18. people ... created--(compare Psa 22:31), an organized body, as a Church.
Sòm 102:19-22
19-22. For--or, "That," as introducing the statement of God's condescension. A summary of what shall be written.
to loose ... appointed--or, "deliver" them (Psa 79:11).
Sòm 102:23-28
23-28. The writer, speaking for the Church, finds encouragement in the midst of all his distresses. God's eternal existence is a pledge of faithfulness to His promises.
in the way--of providence.
weakened--literally, "afflicted," and made fearful of a premature end, a figure of the apprehensions of the Church, lest God might not perform His promise, drawn from those of a person in view of the dangers of early death (compare Psa 89:47). Paul (He 1:10) quotes Psa 102:26-28 as addressed to Christ in His divine nature. The scope of the Psalm, as already seen, so far from opposing, favors this view, especially by the sentiments of Psa 102:12-15 (compare Is 60:1). The association of the Messiah with a day of future glory to the Church was very intimate in the minds of Old Testament writers; and with correct views of His nature it is very consistent that He should be addressed as the Lord and Head of His Church, who would bring about that glorious future on which they ever dwelt with fond delightful anticipations.
