More and more churches stream their services on Facebook or YouTube. Viewers at home want to sing and read along too. With BibleSlide, the lyrics and verses on the projector can also appear on your stream, on top of the camera image.

Mark 16:15

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

King James Version

Connect BibleSlide to OBS

  1. While presenting, click Broadcast (OBS) and copy the output link.
  2. In OBS Studio, add a Browser source, paste the link and set it to 1920 × 1080.
  3. Place the source above your camera. BibleSlide follows the presentation automatically.

Choose a look

  • Transparent lyrics: the words over the camera image.
  • Lower third: a band at the bottom of the screen, perfect for Bible references.
  • Full presentation: the same slide as in the church.
  • Scripture overlay: the verse with its reference.

Control the stream separately

What is good for the room is not always good for the stream. You can hide the lyrics on the stream only, black it out, or clear it during a video, without touching the projector. Required attributions, like the name of the Bible translation, always stay visible.

Before going live

  • Test the link in OBS during the week.
  • Check that the text is readable on a phone: most viewers watch on a phone.
  • If the link is shared by mistake, make a new one: the old link stops at once.

OBS does the streaming; BibleSlide only shows the words. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere else.
