Many churches think worship presentation needs expensive software, several computers and a trained team. For a small congregation, one laptop, one screen or TV and one volunteer are enough to show song lyrics, Bible readings and announcements every Sunday.

What you need

  • A laptop with a recent web browser.
  • A projector or a TV with an HDMI cable.
  • A free BibleSlide account to prepare the service.
  • Optional: a phone to change slides from anywhere in the room.

Prepare during the week

Build the order of service at home: songs from the hymn library or typed in, the Bible passages of the sermon, and the announcements. On Sunday the volunteer opens the saved service and simply moves forward.

Keep it simple on Sunday

  1. Arrive 20 minutes early and test the screen.
  2. Open the service and show a welcome slide.
  3. Follow the singers and the preacher, one slide at a time.

If the internet is unreliable, BibleSlide keeps working offline with the service you prepared. See all the features on the features page.

Zechariah 4:10

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

King James Version

Start with lyrics only. When the team is comfortable, add Bible verses, then announcements.
