When the preacher says “open your Bibles to John 3”, many people look at the screen first. Showing the verse quickly and clearly keeps everyone in the text. Here is how to do it without stress.

Psalms 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

King James Version

Find the passage in seconds

Type the reference, for example “John 3:16” or “Psalm 23”. BibleSlide finds the passage in the chosen translation and prepares one slide per verse. Five translations are included: King James Version, Louis Segond 1910, Bib La 1985 in Kreyòl, Reina-Valera 1909 and Bíblia Livre.

Prepare the readings in advance

  • Ask the preacher for the passages a few days before.
  • Add them to the order of service, in the order of the sermon.
  • Keep a few extra references ready for verses that are often quoted.

Show one verse at a time

A whole paragraph on one slide is hard to read. One verse per slide, with the reference visible, lets people follow and find the place in their own Bible. Long verses can be split in two.

Two languages for a mixed congregation

In bilingual mode each verse appears in two translations, for example Kreyòl and French, side by side or one above the other. Nobody is left out.

Read along on phones

Members can follow the same passage on their phone with a QR code, and anyone can read the Bible for free online, for example John 3.

Use a plain background behind Scripture. The text is the message: decorations should never compete with it.
