1 Se Seyè a ki wa! Pèp yo ap tranble. Li chita sou fotèy li anwo zanj cheriben yo. Tout moun sou latè ap tranble! 2 Seyè a gen pouvwa nan peyi Siyon! L'ap gouvènen sou tout pèp yo. 3 Se pou tout moun fè lwanj li, paske li gen pouvwa, li merite respè! Se Bondye tout bon li ye! 4 Ou se yon wa ki gen pouvwa, yon wa ki renmen sa ki dwat. Ou mete jistis toupatou nan peyi Izrayèl. Ou fè yo fè jistis nan peyi a san patipri, jan sa dwe fèt. 5 Lwanj pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an! Bese tèt nou devan fotèy li. Sè Bondye tout bon li ye! 6 Moyiz ak Arawon te fè pati prèt li yo! Samyèl te yonn nan moun ki te sèvi l' yo! Tout twa te rele Seyè a, li te reponn yo. 7 Li rete nan poto nwaj la, li pale ak yo. Yo te obeyi lòd ak kòmandman li te ba yo. 8 Seyè, Bondye nou, ou te reponn yo lè yo te lapriyè ou! Ou te moutre yo se yon Bondye ki konn padonnen ou ye. Men, ou te pini yo pou sa yo fè ki mal. 9 Lwanj pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an! Adore l' sou mòn ki apa pou li a! Paske, Seyè a, Bondye nou an, se Bondye tout bon li ye.

PSALM 99

Psa 99:1-9. God's government is especially exercised in and for His Church, which should praise Him for His gracious dealings.

1. sitteth ... cherubim--(compare 1Sa 4:4; Psa 80:1).

tremble ... be moved--inspired with fear by His judgments on the wicked.

2. great in Zion--where He dwells (Psa 9:11).

3. thy ... name--perfections of justice, power, &c.

great and terrible name--producing dread (De 10:17), and to be praised by those over whom He is exalted (Psa 97:9).

it is holy--or, "He is holy" (Psa 99:5, 9; Is 6:3).

4-5. To His wise and righteous government all nations should render honor.

king's ... judgment--His power is combined with justice.

he is holy--(compare Psa 22:3).

Sòm 99:6-8

6-8. The experience of these servants of God is cited for encouragement.

among ... priests, among ... upon the Lord [and] He spake ... pillar--may be referred to all three (compare Ex 18:19; Le 8:15; De 5:5; 1Sa 9:13).
