1 Seyè, ou menm Bondye ki gen dwa tire revanj lan, parèt non pou fè yo wè ki moun ou ye. 2 Ou menm k'ap jije tout moun sou latè, leve non! Bay moun k'ap pran pòz gwokolèt yo sa yo merite! 3 Kilè mechan yo va sispann fè fèt? Wi, Seyè, kilè y'a sispann? 4 Kilè moun k'ap fè sa ki mal yo va sispann fè grandizè? Kilè y'a sispann fè bèl diskou pou rakonte krim yo fè? 5 Seyè, y'ap kraze pèp ou a, y'ap peze moun pa ou yo. 6 Y'ap koupe kou vèv yo, y'ap koupe kou timoun ki san papa yo, y'ap ansasinen etranje k'ap viv nan peyi a. 7 Lè konsa yo di: Seyè a pa wè nou! Bondye pèp Izrayèl la pa okipe bagay konsa! 8 Nou menm, bann san konprann, manyè fè atansyon non! Bann moun fou, kilè n'a konprann? 9 Bondye ki bay zòrèy, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka tande? Bondye ki fè je, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka wè? 10 Limenm ki reskonsab tout nasyon yo, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka pini yo? Limenm k'ap bay moun tout kalite konesans, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka konnen? 11 Seyè a konnen lide lèzòm gen nan tèt yo. Li konnen sa pa vo anyen. 12 Ala bon sa bon, Seyè, lè w'ap korije yon moun, pou fè l' konnen sa ki nan lalwa ou, 13 pou l' ka rete ak kè poze lè jou malè a rive, jouk y'a fouye twou pou antere mechan an. 14 Seyè a p'ap voye pèp li a jete, li p'ap vire do bay moun ki pou li yo. 15 Lè sa a, moun va jwenn jistis nan tribinal, tout moun ki mache dwat va dakò avèk sa. 16 Kilès ki va kanpe pou mwen kont mechan yo? Kilès ki va pran pou mwen kont moun k'ap fè mal yo? 17 Si se pa t' Seyè a ki te sekou mwen, gen lontan depi mwen ta mouri. 18 Lè mwen di: Men m'ap tonbe wi! Se ou menm, Seyè, ki soutni m' paske ou gen bon kè. 19 Lè m' nan tèt chaje, lè mwen pa konn sa pou m' fè, se ou menm ki ban m' kouraj, se ou menm ki fè kè m' kontan. 20 Eske ou nan konfyolo avèk jij pèvèti sa yo, k'ap fè mechanste yo pase pou lalwa? 21 Y'ap fè konplo sou moun ki mache dwat yo, y'ap kondannen inonsan yo amò. 22 Men, Seyè a se tout defans mwen. Bondye mwen, se twou wòch kote m' jwenn pwoteksyon. 23 L'ap fè mechanste yo a tonbe sou pwòp tèt yo, l'ap fè peche yo a touye yo. Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ap disparèt yo.

Sòm 94:1-2

PSALM 94

Psa 94:1-23. The writer, appealing to God in view of the oppression of enemies, rebukes them for their wickedness and folly, and encourages himself, in the confidence that God will punish evildoers, and favor His people.

1-2. God's revenge is His judicial infliction of righteous punishment.

show thyself--(Compare Margin).

Sòm 94:3-4

3-4. In an earnest expostulation he expresses his desire that the insolent triumph of the wicked may be ended.

Sòm 94:5-6

5-6. thy people [and] thine heritage--are synonymous, the people being often called God's heritage. As justice to the weak is a sign of the best government, their oppression is a sign of the worst (De 10:18; Is 10:2).

7. Their cruelty is only exceeded by their wicked and absurd presumption (Psa 10:11; 59:7).

Sòm 94:9-11

9-11. The evidence of God's providential government is found in His creative power and omniscience, which also assure us that He can punish the wicked in regard to all their vain purposes.

Sòm 94:12-13

12-13. On the other hand He favors though He chastens, the pious, and will teach and preserve them till the prosperous wicked are overthrown.

14-15. This results from His abiding love (De 32:15), which is further evinced by His restoring order in His government, whose right administration will be approved by the good.

16. These questions imply that none other than God will help (Psa 60:9),

17-19. a fact fully confirmed by his past experience.

dwelt in silence--as in the grave (Psa 31:17).

20. throne--power, rulers.

iniquity [and] mischief--both denote evils done to others, as Psa 94:21 explains.

22-23. Yet he is safe in God's care.

defence--(Psa 59:9).

rock of ... refuge--(Psa 9:9; 18:2).
