Sòm 93

Bib La · Kreyòl Ayisyen

1 Seyè a ap gouvènen. Gade jan li gen pouvwa! Gade jan li gen fòs! Latè kanpe fèm nan plas li, anyen pa ka brannen l'. 2 Seyè, gouvènman ou lan chita fèm depi nan tan lontan. Ou menm, ou la depi tout tan. 3 Larivyè yo desann, Seyè, larivyè yo ap fè bri. Larivyè yo desann, y'ap fè gwo bri. 4 Men, Seyè a se sèl chèf nan syèl la. Li gen plis pouvwa pase lanmè a ki fin debòde, li pi fò pase lanm lanmè yo k'ap fè bri. 5 Seyè, kòmandman ou yo la pou tout tan. Kay ou se yon kay ki apa pou ou pou tout tan tout tan.

Sòm 93:1

PSALM 93

Psa 93:1-5. This and the six following Psalms were applied by the Jews to the times of the Messiah. The theme is God's supremacy in creation and providence.

1. God is described as a King entering on His reign, and, for robes of royalty, investing Himself with the glorious attributes of His nature. The result of His thus reigning is the durability of the world.

Sòm 93:2-4

2-4. His underived power exceeds the most sublime exhibitions of the most powerful objects in nature (Psa 89:9).

Sòm 93:5

5. While His power inspires dread, His revealed will should secure our confidence (compare Psa 19:7; 25:10), and thus fear and love combined, producing all holy emotions, should distinguish the worship we offer in His house, both earthly and heavenly.
