Sòm 115

Bib La · Kreyòl Ayisyen

1 Non! Non! Se pa pou nou! Men, se pou ou menm sèl, paske ou renmen nou, paske ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou! 2 Poukisa moun lòt nasyon yo ap mande: -Kote Bondye nou an? 3 Bondye nou an, se nan syèl la li ye, Li fè sa l' vle. 4 Zidòl pa yo, se bagay ki fèt ak ajan ak lò. Se moun ki fè yo ak men yo. 5 Yo gen bouch, men yo pa ka pale. Yo gen je, men yo pa ka wè. 6 Yo gen zòrèy, men yo pa ka tande. Yo gen nen, men yo pa ka pran okenn sant. 7 Yo gen men, men yo pa ka manyen anyen. Yo gen pye, men yo pa ka mache. Li bay moun latè pou yo. 17 Se pa moun mouri k'ap fè lwanj Seyè a. Non! Se pa moun ki desann kote mò yo ye a k'ap fè lwanj li. 18 Men, nou menm ki vivan, n'ap di l' mèsi depi koulye a ak pou tout tan tout tan. Lwanj pou Seyè a!

Sòm 115:1-3

PSALM 115

Psa 115:1-18. The Psalmist prays that God would vindicate His glory, which is contrasted with the vanity of idols, while the folly of their worshippers is contrasted with the trust of God's people, who are encouraged to its exercise and to unite in the praise which it occasions.

1-3. The vindication of God's mercy and faithfulness (Psa 25:10; 36:6) is the "glory" of His "name," which is desired to be illustrated in the deliverance of His people, as the implied mode of its manifestation. In view of the taunts of the heathen, faith in His dominion as enthroned in the heaven (Psa 2:4; 11:4) is avowed.

Sòm 115:4-7
