1 Salmo de David: Masquil. BIENAVENTURADO aquel cuyas iniquidades son perdonadas, y borrados sus pecados. 2 Bienaventurado el hombre á quien no imputa Jehová la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay superchería. 3 Mientras callé, envejeciéronse mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día. 4 Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; volvióse mi verdor en sequedades de estío. (Selah.) 5 Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones á Jehová; y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.) 6 Por esto orará á ti todo santo en el tiempo de poder hallarte: ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas no llegarán éstas á él. 7 Tú eres mi refugio; me guardarás de angustia; con cánticos de liberación me rodearás. (Selah.) 8 Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que debes andar: sobre ti fijaré mis ojos. 9 No seáis como el caballo, ó como el mulo, sin entendimiento: con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser reprimida, para que no lleguen á ti. 10 Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en Jehová, lo cercará misericordia. 11 Alegraos en Jehová, y gozaos, justos: y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.

PSALM 32
Psa 32:1-11. Maschil--literally, "giving instruction." The Psalmist describes the blessings of His forgiveness, succeeding the pains of conviction, and deduces from his own experience instruction and exhortation to others.
1-2. (Compare Ro 4:6).
forgiven--literally, "taken away," opposed to retain (Joh 20:23).
covered--so that God no longer regards the sin (Psa 85:3).
Salmos 32:3-4
3-4. A vivid description of felt, but unacknowledged, sin.
When--literally, "for," as in Psa 32:4.
Salmos 32:5
5. A prompt fulfilment of the purposed confession is followed by a prompt forgiveness.

7. His experience illustrates the statement of Psa 32:6.
Salmos 32:8
8. Whether, as most likely, the language of David (compare Psa 51:13), or that of God, this is a promise of divine guidance.
I will ... mine eye--or, My eye shall be on thee, watching and directing thy way.
Salmos 32:9
9. The latter clause, more literally, "in that they come not near thee"; that is, because they will not come, &c., unless forced by bit and bridle.
Salmos 32:10
10. The sorrows of the impenitent contrasted with the peace and safety secured by God's mercy.
Salmos 32:11
11. The righteous and upright, or those conforming to the divine teaching for securing the divine blessing, may well rejoice with shouting.
